JD Pardo stars as “Ezekiel ‘EZ’ Reyes,” a prospect in the Mayans M.C., Santo Padre. EZ is the gifted son of a proud Latino family, whose American dream was snuffed out by border violence. Now, his need for vengeance drives him toward a life he never intended and can never escape. Born and raised in Panorama City, CA, to an Argentinean father and El Salvadorian mother, JD Pardo found his love for acting while taking a high school theater class. He began his career with recurring arcs on NBC’s 2004 hit musical series American Dream and in the CBS series Clubhouse. However, it was his portrayal of Gwen Araujo in the 2006 Lifetime movie A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story that caught the eye of critics and audiences alike. The movie, which chronicles the true story of transgendered teen (Araujo) who was murdered by four male acquaintances, won the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Movie for Television. Pardo’s performance was hailed as “heartbreaking and thoroughly brilliant” by The Hollywood Reporter and garnered him a nomination for an Imagen Award, which honors positive portrayal of Latinos in the media. Pardo’s success continued when he joined Emma Stone, Nathan Fillion and Melanie Lynskey in the FOX series Drive, created by Tim Minear and Ben Queen. The following year he was cast in Guillermo Arriaga’s film, The Burning Plain. Starring alongside Charlize Theron and Jennifer Lawrence, Pardo made his mark on screen as a young teenager trying to piece together his shattered life. His other film credits include memorable roles in Summit’s final installment of the Twilight Series Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 and opposite Dwayne Johnson in the action thriller Snitch. In 2016, Pardo was nominated for an Emmy® Award for Outstanding Actor in a Digital Daytime Drama Series for his work on Hulu’s East Los High. His additional television credits include starring roles on J.J. Abram’s NBC drama Revolution and CW’s The Messengers. JD currently resides in Los Angeles.
