Natasia Demetriou

Nadja
"Nadja," played by Natasia Demetriou, is the matron of the vampire household. She turned Laszlo into her vampire lover many moons ago, and now together, they rule the roost and have their pick of whomever they so choose to feast upon. Demetriou is a talented writer and character comedian. She starred as “Sophie” in Roughcut TV’s comedy series Stath Lets Flats for Channel 4, written by and starring Jamie Demetriou, which received rave reviews. In 2018, Demetriou starred alongside Joe Thomas, Jemaine Clement and Claudia O’Doherty in the comedy feature, The Festival, for Film4 and Fudge Park. Additional credits include Static (BBC One/Zeppotron Comedy Playhouse), Sick Note (Sky One), Wasteman (Left Bank Pictures), Morgana Robinson’s The Agency (BBC 2), Oh God and Coaches for Sky Arts. Demetriou and her comedy partner, Ellie White, have a sketch pilot commission from the BBC, which went into production at the end of 2018 with Harry Hill and CPL Productions. They took their live comedy show, "Natasia Demetriou and Ellie White are Gettin' Big," to the Soho Theatre for a sell-out run in July 2018. Earlier that year, the comedy duo performed one of their sketches – “Mum’s The Word” - on the smash hit British Channel 4 comedy panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Demetriou has appeared as herself on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Go 8-Bit, The Chris Ramsey Show on Comedy Central UK, and Harry Hill’s Tea Time for Sky One. She was a writer on ITV’s The Nightly Show and served as writer and performer on ITV2’s current affairs focused show, @Elevenish. She co-wrote and starred in the critically-acclaimed BBC3 Comedy Feed People Time, which The Guardian described as “the most startlingly good sketchgroup to have come out of this island since Absolutely.” Demetriou’s 2014 debut solo Edinburgh show, You'll Never Have All of Me, won the Skinny Debutant Award.
